Content policy
Spotwise is for anonymous, place-based observations that help people understand neighborhood conditions. We review reports before they appear publicly.
What belongs here
Factual observations about public places, services, and neighborhood conditions: access barriers, recurring service issues, pricing practices, visible safety concerns, or property conditions.
What does not belong here
- Names, photos, usernames, or other personal identifying details.
- Private-home addresses, unit numbers, or precise residential locations.
- Dating, roommate, person lookup, or individual accusation content.
- Threats, harassment, discriminatory content, or calls to target someone.
- Claims presented as fact when they are not based on an observed place experience.
Moderation and flags
Approved reports can be flagged for a new review. We may remove content that conflicts with these standards. Spotwise does not make legal determinations or provide legal advice.
